Folk Musician

As a Folk Musician I perform a variety of solo Celtic Fingerstyle Guitar and popular Folk Song and Ballads from the Scottish and Irish traditions along with some of my own original Scottish poetry.

I have experience performing in a variety of settings, and have performed at events and venues including, Moray Arts Centre, Lyth Arts Centre, Celtic Connections, Ann Lantair, The Blue Lamp, The Lemon Tree, Speyfest, Glachbeg Folk Club, Loch Ness Knitfest, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and Knockengoroch Festival.

I love performing a blend of beautiful melodies and arrangements on solo acoustic Celtic fingerstyle guitar along with popular well known sing-along folk songs and ballads from the Scottish and Irish traditions. I especially love audience participation and actively encourage audiences to get involved and sing-along. I have been the supporting act for English multi-instrumentalist Tim Edey, and English folk musician John Smith.
